Houghton Meeting Jan 15

We invite you to the next Houghton Neighborhood Association (HNA) neighbor meeting on Jan 15th 6pm, at Northwest University HSC Auditorium (directions below) where we will discuss topics near and dear to you related to the proposed densification of Kirkland. This is a once in a generation issue that is galvanizing all neighbors across Kirkland (thanks to those who have been writing to the City about this), and these meetings are ongoing opportunities to get informed on what’s at stake.

AGENDA:

5:30pm - Arrival and meet your neighbors!

6:00pm - Start

  • Update on latest on Houghton Village development

  • Gather your questions on La Quinta

6:30pm - Presentation by King County Metro and City of Kirkland on proposed impacts on 108th due to BAT (business access and transit) lanes and K-Line. Current proposal will have dramatic impacts on 108th including the acquisition of both residential and commercial land. Note….there will be time for questions and discussion.

8:00pm - Close

We look forward to seeing you all there! PLEASE RSVP by clicking here with the number attending, so we can ensure we have enough space for everyone.
