Houghton Neighborhood Meeting Oct 8th
We invite you to the next Houghton Neighborhood Association (HNA) neighbor meeting on Oct 8th 6pm, at Northwest University HSC Auditorium (directions below) where we will discuss topics near and dear to you related to the proposed densification of Kirkland. This is a once in a generation issue that is galvanizing all neighbors across Kirkland (thanks to those who wrote to the Commission / Council on this), and this is a great opportunity to get informed on what’s at stake.
We have invited two members of the City Planning Commission who recently voted on the Transit Corridors, ahead of a City Council decision vote in early December. They will talk about the considerations that drove their individual votes. Please join the discussion, and learn what you can do! Some members of the City Council are also expected to join us.
AGENDA:
5:30pm - Arrival and meet your neighbors!
6:00pm - Start
Updates on relevant topics (Houghton Village, Neighborhood Comp Plan)
Transit Corridors Vote Update with Planning Commissioners Bria Heiser and Rodney Rutherford
108th and K-Line Update with Gary Greenberg (HNA Director)
8:00pm - Closing
We look forward to seeing you all there! PLEASE RSVP by clicking here with the number attending, so we can ensure we have enough space for everyone.
